The Gellertouch software is definitely our favourite toy at the moment. We have installed it into a number of Hardware and Builders Providers and we feel that it is especially suited for this type of environment where Cash and Credit sales are the norm and where a receipt or an invoice is required at the Point of Sale. With the combination of barcodescanning, touchscreens and a myriad of different menus it is unbeatable. It really has all the answers. The scanning will take care of 90% of all stock and the remaining 10% is handled beautifully by the various screens & menus. You won't have to worry about all the various problems normally encountered here such as:
Layaways. An item or group of items can be put aside for a customer. The details are held on the system & recalled later. Clerk Interrupt. All operators can interrupt each other. You can also put your sale on hold and continue later on the same till or another if required. Quotations can be put together & recalled later etc. Advance Orders can be assembled with a customer account showing the customers details and delivery address etc. Charge Accounts. Separate from the normal accounts system, numerous different types of charge accounts can be operated at the one time, possibly where the customers details are not required eg. Repairs to be collected, Internet cafe, tables in a restaurant, Tool Hire, etc. etc. Advance Bookings. eg. Hiring tools, Tables in a restaurant, Rooms in a hotel, Tables in a snooker hall, etc. Mix and Match. The mix 'n match system is very comprehensive & should be adequate to cover all your Special Offer needs. 6 different price levels. Different prices for different customers, times of the day, different days of the week etc. etc. Different quantities eg. 1/2s, Doubles, Pints, Litres etc. Security Levels for different members of staff, Loyalty Points System. This is a comprehensive system with points on the overall value of the sale or points on certain products only or a mix of both. eg. Normal points on value of sale plus extra points today on Garden Sheds. Card swipe for Customers, Members & Accounts, Screen prompting messages for staff on different products, eg. Remember to include the pack of screws with the wardrobe. Special receipt messages for different products etc, eg. For added protection apply creosote once a year. Photo image of products, members and account holders if required. Comprehensive stock control is achieved with the help of recipe items. EG. A tool box could be made up of a number of different tools, or the ingredients of a cake or a cocktail can be accounted for and costed with the required margin put on for selling purposes. Handheld Terminals. Another invaluable tool for stocktaking etc is the handheld terminal that we use. Expensive Stocktaking is now a thing of the past. Stocktaking. If an outside stocktaker is preferred your complete stock file can be exported easily to an Excel spreadsheet and your stocktaker can use his own handheld device. Barcode Labelling. For items not barcoded you can create your own barcode labels on the system very simply and preview how they will look on the screen. You can use a variety of standard Peel Off A4 Avery Labels. You can even tell it to skip a number labels at the start if they have already been peeled off and used. Shelf Edge Labelling. As above the system will create a number of different sizes and styles. You can also use your own specially designed labels to fit in with your shop decor. Items not suitable for scanning because they are either too big or too small are easily catered for with the Gellertouch System by use of preset items on different screens, product menus, menus in menus and different department screens etc. This is where the system shines compared to some other systems and better still, it is childs play to program these menus & screens etc. Sage etc.The software is linked to a number of different accounts packages such as Sage for those who need the complete deal.
Have you ever waited in a lengthy frustrating queue in a Hardware or Builders Providers store where the guy behind the counter seems to be taking all day to search for products & prices etc. on his very modern looking flat screen PC. Then to make matters more frustrating you have to take your docket in triplicate and queue up again at a cash register, and then to crown it all you have to go up the yard to look for someone called Paddy or Mick, who can't be found, to cut a piece of timber for you. You would'nt want to be in a hurry.

Your customer has time to browse around the shop while he is waiting for his number to be displayed telling him that the items are ready and can be picked up at a central pick-up point.
Bars, Restaurants & Accomodation For Bars, Restaurants and Hotels the Gellertouch is unbeatable again. It has a fantastic Table Planner and a Booking Planner for advanced bookings. We usually design our screens for speed of operation. Stock control is comprehensive with control of half pints, doubles and cocktails etc. You could even go metric and sell pints, Litres and half litres etc.at the same time. Waste is also properly accounted for. Accomodation is handled with ease but for those who prefer to use dedicated Hotel Systems it is already linked to a number of systems. Where swipe cards are used, the bar tills can be linked to the hotel reception system and the one swipe card can be used to open a room door or to charge drinks or food etc. to the Room Account at the till in the bar or restaurant.
Golf Clubs, Health Clubs & Clubs in general. With the use of membership cards all of the above are handled with ease. By swiping a membership card different price levels can be attributed to members etc and their photograph can also be displayed if necessary.
Reports.
With the use of Crystal Reports you can tailor the reports to your own liking. Every conceivable report is availabe. Some that might be of interest would be profit reports for Groups, Depts, Suppliers, Range of products or all showing the bottom line & percentage margin.
