Geller AX-200
We would suggest the All New & just released Geller AX-200 as a basic heavy duty till with both an audit & a receipt roll. It  prints descriptions and has the ability to serve a number of customers at the one time. It will also give a receipt after the sale if the receipt has been turned off. More importantly you can link a scanner to it which will allow you to scan up to 5,000 products. The AX-200 is probably the the best value scanning system on the market.
For the fashion conscience the AX200 comes in black only.

The Sam4s ER-420
If you need a simple, quick, quiet and economical cash register with an audit and receipt printer then the ER-420 fits the bill. The ER-420 is definitely an impressive machine to operate.

SX-580.  
This is a very stylish but troublefree machine with an Alphanumeric print on display (Front & Rear). It comes with a raised keyboard. (The flat version has now been discontinued and replaced by the SX-590) The raised would probably be more suitable for a Grocery Shop and could normally be used with open department keys. The customer will get a professional looking receipt with proper department descriptions and your end of day reports will also make more sense. This machine can also link to a computer and a scanner if needs be and linked to both would be an inexpensive scanning system.
